Avalanche v1.2 [ION] | By: Harper Maddox and Nathan Powell 83+ Port: Ian Graf |
Harper's very first ASM game. Dodge the randomly falling icicles as long as you can.
"The gameplay is okay, but it does become stale after awhile." - Sam Heald
"It is a simple game that won't get you bored." - Hieu-Trung Le |
Baseball '99 v1.1 [ION] | By: Sam Heald |
There aren't many sports games for the TI-8X. We've decided to change all that with Baseball '99. It has three modes: HomeRun Derby, Exhibition, and Season mode. Despite what you think, hitting is not done randomly. Baseball II will make this game look like absolute crap ;)
"How can something so inane be so addictive?" - Nature Leseul
"Baseball '99 is a very fun game written by Sam Heald." - Matt Adler |
BlackJack v1.0 [ION] | By: Harper Maddox |
If you havent played Blackjack, the game is very simple. The objective is to try to attain a total of 21 with your cards (face cards equal 10). In order to obtain your goal, you should hit when you are dealt low cards, and stay when you are dealt high ones. Winning is based very little on skill (despite what you may have heard in Vegas Vacation), and entirely based on luck.
"About as good as blackjack can get" - Sam Heald |
Calendar v2.6 [ION] | By: Ahmed El-Helw and Jonah Cohen |
A fully functional calendar. Also features a 12 satellite GPS system, accurate to 1/16th of a mile, in case you happen to get lost in the woods of rural Maryland with your only worthwile companion, a trusty TI. ;) |
Checkers 8X v1.2 [ION] | By: Sam Heald |
A checkers game for the ti calculators written in 100% machine code and with two player linking features. It's 8X because I decided to use modified versions of the link routines used in Ztetris and convert it to every z80 TI-8X calculator, which means Checkers 82 will link with Checkers 83/85/86 and vice versa. The game is very simple and takes up less than 2k. |
Chicken Shoot v1.1 [ION] | By: Harper Maddox |
One of Harper's earliest ASM creations. Use your cheap, Japanese radar to track down and shoot the chickens on your farm in the fastest time. |
FallDown v1.5 [ION] | By: Ahmed El-Helw and Florent Dhordain, based on the game by Thomas Fernique 83+ Port: Ian Graf |
An awesome game by Florent Dhordain and Ahmed based on the TI-89/92 game. The object of the game is simple. You are a ball that is falling through a maze. You must keep falling as much as possible, not letting the top of the screen hit the top of you. You can not win this game, it is an endless game in a sense, just like Tunnels.
"You can argue that it lacks features, but at the same time you can say that it fits a lot in its little space." - Sam Heald
"FallDown is one of those games that never get old." - Eric Sun |
FrAWgGuts v1.0 [ION] | By: Derrick Ward 83+ Port: Sam Heald |
The best and only Frogger-clone on the TI-8X. This game is feature-filled and challenging. It also spawned this site and programming group. |
K-Base [ION] | By: Kouri Rosenberg |
K-Base is a simple number base converter that allows you to input and convert decimal, hexadecimal, binary, and octal numbers. It will convert between bases while you type and it is also very small. A very convienient tool for programmers. |
Hard Hat Mack v1.0 [ION] | By: Derrick Ward 83+ Port: Sam Heald |
Kill those dang aliens! |
Hard Hat Mack 2 v1.0 [ION] | By: Derrick Ward 83+ Port: Sam Heald |
Hard Hat Mack has new levels, and he learned how to jump. Oh yeah, he still has a big gun, and the aliens still must die! |
Periodic Table v2.0 [ION] | By: Ahmed El-Helw 83+ port: Jason Kovacs |
A graphical periodic table program which currently includes these features: moving through the periodic table with the right/left arrow keys, displays name, symbol, atomic number, atomic mass, and 110 Elements total. |
Rogue Runner v1.0 [ION] | By: Harper Maddox |
Rogue was originally for MS-DOS, it was one of those great games that could run on 640k, and provide hours of good clean fun. The game includes a 24x16 map, in which you have to get from one end to an exit on the other side. Along the way you will encounter many obstacles, such as invisible walls (which you get to see briefly at the beginning of each level), and the seemingly ubiquitious enemies.
"Download it for its originality, but do not expect to keep it as a mainstay in your TI-82's limited memory." - Sam Heald |
SubHunt v1.4 [ION] | By: Sam Heald |
Maneuver your battleship to drop depth charges on the submarines below. Based on a popular Palm Pilot game of the same name, SubHunt combines strategy and fast shoot-em-up gameplay. |
Super Mario v1.2 [ION] | By: Sam Heald |
It's Mario on your 83(+)! Based upon Bill Nagel's 86 rendition (it features the same graphics), this side-scrolling action game surpasses all other available on this calculator. Super Mario features an external level editor, gorgeous graphics, numerous enemies, fireballs, and all the goodies one would expect from the name. Download it now! |
TxtView v1.53 [ION] | By: Kouri Rosenberg 83+ Port: Sam Heald |
View text files on your calculator! Extremely useful for school! Type up your notes at home, convert them to calculator files, send them to your calc, and view them with this handy program. Features selectable fonts with extended ASCII character support, word wrap, easy file browsing, and much more. VoidPack v1.0 [APP] | By: Harper Maddox |
VoidPack is a collection of great games all rolled into one application. Applications have the advantage of being stored in the TI-83+'s flash memory, so it doesn't take up space in normal RAM, and they don't require a shell to run. The games included are Ahmed El-Helw's FallDown Forever, Harper's own Rogue Runner, and Wouter Demuynck's Knight Moves, which has not yet been ported to the TI-83+. This is a TI-83+ exclusive! Download it now! |
